Today we’re unveiling an early look at something new for Ardent: Owner Packs - a simple, polished handover package for every kitten (or puppy), generated automatically from the data you already keep inside Ardent.
This feature is now in early rapid iteration, and we want your input as we shape it. Here’s what’s included so far and where we think it can grow.
What are Owner Packs?
Owner Packs are a customisable digital (and printable) bundle that breeders can provide to new owners at collection time. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, WhatsApps, PDFs and screenshots, Ardent automatically builds a clean, professional-looking pack with everything in one place.
Current proposed contents

Full weight chart from birth to collection
Clear graphs showing gain, milestones, and notes. -
Vaccination & health history
Dates, batch numbers, reminders, and any additional details. -
Microchip details
The microchip number, implantation date, and the implanter’s name. -
Pedigree snapshot
A simple, owner-friendly overview - no overwhelming jargon. -
Care instructions
Feeding schedules, litter used, grooming notes, settling-in tips. -
Photos & personality notes
Optional extras to make the pack meaningful for new owners.
Everything is generated automatically, with breeders able to hide, edit, or add sections before sharing.
Why Owner Packs?
Our goal is twofold:
- Reduce admin for breeders, and
- Raise the overall quality of information new owners receive.
Breeders already invest significant time creating owner packs - often across multiple apps and formats. By pulling directly from your existing Ardent data, we remove the repetitive admin and ensure accuracy and consistency.
How we imagine sharing them
We’re rapidly prototyping two approaches (and may keep both):

A shareable link
Owners can view the pack online and download a PDF if they choose. -
A downloadable/printable PDF
Perfect for breeders who like to provide a physical folder on collection day.
You’ll be able to regenerate or update the pack at any time - for example, if a new weight entry, booster record, or final photo needs adding.
We want your feedback during this early iteration phase
Owner Packs are being built right now, and your feedback at this stage directly shapes the final result.
