This Privacy Policy for ARDENT PET COMPANY LTD (doing business as Ardent or Ardent.pet) (“we”, “us”, or “our”) explains how and why we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our services (“Services”).
Ardent.pet is a web-based application for cat breeders that supports record-keeping and administrative workflows, including litter tracking, health records, pedigree and COI information, microchip details (as recorded by breeders), and the generation of PDF owner packs. Ardent does not operate as a registry or veterinary service.

1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you provide
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:
- create an account
- use features of the Services
- contact us for support or inquiries
This may include:

- account credentials (stored securely)
- information you choose to enter into the Services (such as breeding records or documentation)
We do not intentionally collect special category personal data.
Payment information
If you make a purchase, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy:
Information collected automatically
When you access or use the Services, we automatically collect limited technical information to operate and secure the service, such as:
- IP address
- browser type and settings
- device and operating system information
- dates and times of access
- usage and performance data (for example, which features are used)
This information does not directly identify you and is used primarily for security, diagnostics, and aggregated analytics.
We may infer general location information (such as country or region) based on IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location data.

- To create and manage user accounts
- To provide and operate the Services

Yes. We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- enable core functionality (such as authentication and session management)
- protect the service and prevent abuse
- understand aggregated usage patterns to improve reliability

Our primary application infrastructure is located in the United Kingdom. Some third-party service providers may process personal information outside the UK or European Union.
